Dennis 3rd December 2015

Len Aldis inspired people he never met (like me), never knew existed. People who read about him and what he said; who admired him for his dedication and deeds. And so what comes to mind, as so often does as my heroes in life leave this world, is a poem by Mary Frye: Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. For me, he will not have died, for I will continue to be motivated by his inspiration. Dennis in Saigon
