Len was one of the best, he was an original from his early days to his last, he tried his best to help people, anybody that had a problem from the local area to national problems, he would as you know always put the case for the underdog and fight for them and their cause, I have very happy memories of my youth when living in the East End of London Stepney E1. As Lens younger brother by about 7 years, we would frequently play tennis at shadwall park near the Thames, no such thing as proper shorts or proper tennis balls etc. in fact most of the tennis balls had no fur on them, but that did not matter we had a great time, times I will never forget. I also have good memories of his golfing prowess or lack of it, happy days. As one of the executors Mick being the other one we are responsible for his affairs and funeral arrangements. His request for his funeral was if his body was unsuitable for medical research which it is, due to his untimely death. His request was for a non religious service with no flowers, donations preferred to a vietnamese charity of your choosing . a simple ceremony then cremation, with a family wake at a venue to be decided. I do hope I have not offended anybody but I know and believe this is what Len would have wanted. His brother Bob and nephew Mick.
